Update + How I Got Flawless, Beautiful Skin

How to get flawless beautiful skin, healthy skinLast winter, I’d begun having serious issues with my skin and I was in a frenzy to fix it.  While my birth control played a major part, I was already having a few issues before starting on it.  After getting rid of the Mirena IUD only 3 months after insertion,  I decided to take control once and for all.  I had pretty awesome skin once upon a time and I knew it could be possible again.  Building a regimen of healthy habits is how I got flawless beautiful skin.

During this time, my eating habits weren’t all that great so that was the first thing I addressed.  I had to straighten on up my act when it came to the foods I consumed going for clean, fresh options.  It wasn’t completely terrible as I’m not big on fried foods or the like.  I was, however, downing those holiday peanut butter cookies and double fudge brownies.  The loads of sugar were only contributing to my skin problems.

I’d also gone through an array of skincare products and found that none of them worked for me.  Over the last 8 months, I’ve been through BlissSpa, Origins and Aveeno.  One line was only slightly effective and others, not at all.

BlissSpa was doing an ok job but it was drying out my skin. It didn’t give my skin that youthful moisturized glow I was looking for.  That’s when I decided to and bite the money bullet and re-up on my once-upon-a-favorite, BareMinerals.  I don’t say this about a whole lot of things but this is probably one of the best purchases I’ve ever made as far as beauty products go.  These are for sure the best skincare products I have ever used.  I’ll save all my commentary for a full review but the proof is in the photos.

  • Drink half of your body weight in fluid ounce of water
  • Cleanse, Moisturize & Tone
  • Change your eating habits – what goes in, comes out–through your skin
  • Load up on Berries (blueberries, raspberries, black berries, etc.)
  • Keep face touching to a minimum

Weekly Healthy Habits to Keep

  • Exfoliate twice per week
  • Use a pore-cleansing mask once every two weeks
